XMandarin’s third annual environmental cleanup hiking

For the last couple of years XMandarin and friends go on a hike on the popular mountain Fu Shan. We take garbage bags with us to collect and dispose of all the waste we find along our way.

We do this so everyone can enjoy this wonderful piece of nature in the middle of Qingdao for years to come.

On Sunday 21/5/17 the complete squad met at the foot of Fu Shan. Everyone was energetic and ready to start the climb.

The first part of the journey consisted of a long road with rather large differences in heights. So after climbing up and down several times we took a small break before starting on the climb to the top.

When we reached the top of Fu Shan we completed our mission for the day. After a short rest we started on our journey back to the bottom.

At the end we were left exhausted, satisfied but hungry. We ended our event naturally after lunching together with all our new friends!

Every month we have one of these themed activities. Also every two weeks we go on excursions throughout the city to explore the beautiful city of Qingdao.
