1、简单地说，对现在和以后的事进行否定，应该用“不”。如果是否定过去的事，常常用“没”。
Succinctly speaking ,“不”describes the negative meaning for actions occurring at the present or in the future ,while“没” is for actions that occurred in the past.
·今天下午我不去上课。
jīn tiān xià wǔ wǒ bù qù shàng kè 。
·明天他有事，不来了。
míng tiān tā yǒu shì ，bù lái le 。
·昨天我没去商店。
zuó tiān wǒ méi qù shāng diàn 。
2、有一些词，在否定的时候只能用“不”，不能用“没”。如：是、叫、姓、认识、知道、喜欢、相信、信任、主张、记得、能愿动词、形容词、经常的或者习惯。
Some verb, like是shì、叫jiào、姓xìng、认识rèn shi、知道zhī dao、喜欢xǐ huan、相信xiàng xìn、信任xìn rèn、主张zhǔ zhāng、记得jì de、auxiliary verbs、adjectives、regular action or habit。
3、动词后有结果补语的时候，，用“没”否定：
“没”is suitable for the negative form of verbs used in conjunction with the complement of result .
·我没看清楚。
wǒ méi kàn qīnɡ chu 。
·衣服怎么没洗干净？
yī fu zěn me méi xǐ ɡàn jinɡ ？
·我还没写完呢。
wǒ hái méi xiě wán ne 。
从来不/ 从来没……过
“从来不”和“从来没……过”都可以表示从过去到现在没做这件事，但是意思有点不一样。
Both “从来不”and“从来没……过”can be used to describe an action that someone has never before performed , although they have slightly different meanings .
·我从来没吃过狗肉。 、
wǒ cóng lái méi chī guò gǒu ròu 。
·我从来不吃狗肉。
wǒ cóng lái bù chī gǒu ròu
“从来没吃过”可能是因为没有条件，以后可能会吃。“从来不吃”是不愿意“吃狗肉”，所以以后也不会吃。
“从来没吃过”might have been caused by the lack of proper situation or opportunity ,but I might eat that kind of meat in the future . The reason for using “从来不吃”might be my unwillingness to “吃狗肉”，so I won't ever eat it in the futur
